Comtec was created in order to design ecommerce stores for small and medium sized businesses, combined with ongoing support.

In two decades we have utilised the skills within Comtec to grow and expand our clients brands hugely. Some have grown at up to 90% per year, and now ship many thousands of products to clients all over the globe.

Using this knowledge of what works when growing ecommerce businesses, Comtec designs ecommerce stores for those either starting a fresh venture, or wishing to utilise the Internet in order to expand their sales channels.

We predominantly work with the secure and stable Shopify platform in order to create ecommerce stores, but we are also certified on the Squarespace system (we can discuss the benefits of each). After listening to your needs, your store is designed and built in house, by a small team of three who take into account the operational needs of your store e.g. automatic order printing, shipping labels, stock control, Google shopping ads, integrating with an automatic email service etc.

To prepare your store, we select a particular theme and style, configure checkout services, domain names and tax systems. We then design your graphics, and prepare your first products for sale. Once you are happy with the design and processes, we hand over the site to you with full training.

Once you take over your ecommerce store, we can be there for you with any queries, either on a ‘one off’ basis, or as part of a monthly support package, for example, editing photography, adding new products, preparing graphics, updating the store, or sending monthly emails to your clients.

Our Cyber Essentials Certification also ensures your financial and business information remains secure and private, as assessed by NCSC/GCHQ.
